Stark Provision

Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support during this time. I wanted to give a quick update on my family and where Nicole is at.

After Nicole’s diagnosis, several medical professionals told us finding the best doctor would be key. With her cancer being rare, finding a knowledgeable expert was necessary and difficult—but one name kept coming up as being the top specialist for this diagnosis.

I was told getting him would be a long shot, but then again getting Nicole to go out with me was a long shot. As only God could plan it, we have a mutual friend with this doctor. We were able to get him to take Nicole as a patient.

It'll be a tough summer. Nicole will be on some of the strongest chemotherapy and radiation available. She’ll be bouncing between hospital stays and breaks at home. But we are confident God will continue to reveal Himself.

God’s provision is stark and beautiful in deep valleys. Deep valleys suck, literally and figuratively. They suck your focus, energy, sleep. But yet God meets us there in the valley and His activity stands out like an oasis in a dry desert.

We know, the fight is just starting. We have been surrounded by our family and close friends, and overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers by the church. While we still don’t have any physical needs that need to be met, we ask you to pray continuously with us.
